Currently, we are able to deliver to a few areas in and around Perryopolis including Belle Vernon & Uniontown. Meet ups & pick ups can be scheduled as well.
Please place all orders at least 1 week in advance so that I have enough notice to make your bagels for you!
If you have any questions prior to placing an order, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me by email at emilysklenka@gmail.com
Connor and I currently have full time positions (although we someday dream of being able to be on our farm and run our bakery full time). We will try to be as accommodating as possible with all your orders but please be mindful as we may not be able to get back to you right away.
FAQs
-
In short, you may order as many bagels as you would like!! We would prefer that orders be placed in multiples of 2. For example, you may order 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 etcetera
-
Yes, of course you can mix and match! We’d love you to be able to try all the flavors we offer! If you do order multiple flavors, please still follow our recommendations to order in multiples of two.
-
All our bagels are baked fresh to order! We recommend keeping them in their bags on the counter for only a day or 2. They are best kept in plastic bags in the freezer! P.S. remember to cut the bagels in half before freezing them so that all you have to do when you want a bagel is pop it in the toaster oven!
-
Currently the only flavor of bagel that contains dairy is our chocolate chip bagel. We use semisweet chocolate chips in it. All other bagels are dairy-free although baked in a kitchen where cross contamination with dairy is possible.
-
Yes, of course! Please be aware that the smallest amount of rolls at this time is 6. In order to try both flavors, you would order 6 original & 6 apple!
-
If choosing to bake the rolls at your own home, an instruction card will be provided with your order with step by step baking instructions!
These rolls would come to you ready to bake in an oven safe container with their yummy frosting on the side!
-
Of course cinnamon rolls are best enjoyed by warm & gooey. To reheat, simply place the roll on a microwave safe dish and heat for about 30 seconds!
-
Yes! Actually, we recommend that you do so if not planning to eat all of your goodies within the first 2 days of bringing them home.
For the bagels: we’ve found it best to pre cut the bagels in half and then place in the freezer.
For the rolls: may be best to divide up the rolls prior to freezing to make it easier to take out one at a time when you want a sweet treat.
Meet the Baker
Hi! I’m Emily and I’ve dreamed of owning my own bakery for as long as I can remember. I love all things baking including cookies, cakes, cupcakes, muffins and recently became obsessed with baking bagels.
I moved to the area 2 years ago with my fiancé, Connor. We met at college in NE PA and moved out here to our farm which has been in Connor’s family for many many years.
While we have loved living out here, we were both missing typical New Jersey bagels. After researching a few recipes and looking into what it takes to bake bagels, we found that it was possible to have our very own New Jersey style bagels at home, and now want to share them with all of you.
We appreciate your support of our small business more than you know! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and welcome to the Good Boys Family!
The Meaning Behind the Name
Good Boys Bagels the name was inspired by our 3 dogs at home.
When we moved onto the farm, we inherited the best old farm dog there ever was. Benny enjoyed hunting his own yummy dinner on the farm and loved whenever kitchen scraps would come his way (steak was his favorite). Our Benny boy unfortunately passed away recently but will live on in our small business and hearts forever.
West is our 3 yo black lab that we rehomed from The Big Apple. He is a true city boy turned farm dog. West is a sweet mama’s boy and enjoys chewing on a bone on a nice sunny day outside. He’s also our fearless protector, running off any deer that dare to come near the house.
Odie is our most recent addition. He is about 2 yo and a is a mix of a few large breeds. He is the biggest goofball of a puppy and loves nothing more than to get pets and attention from humans. He also enjoys playing with the chickens and exploring every aspect of our farm.
